Hi , I'm Aishwaraya

A Licensed Clinical Psychologist ( Associate) And a CBT therapist.

I have been living in Gurgaon for more than two years now. And I have been practicing psychotherapy for three years now.

I love my job because I get to witness the courage, strength, and determination of my clients as they face their fears, vulnerabilities, and weaknesses in life. I feel honoured to be a part of this journey and to witness that change in them.

When I am not in my clinic, I love reading books (crime fiction and psychology only) and have a passion for drawing and dancing as well. I enjoy studying and staying updated on all the current research being done in the field of psychology.

Psychology has been an area of interest for me since my undergraduate studies, but I know that I fell in love with it way before that because of the kind of genre of books I used to read. And this interest and love for the subject has moved me to currently pursue a Phd in Psychology.

My Approach

I am a client centered therapist. This means that I come from a basic thought process that you as a person who is facing problems in life, hurdles in life , are completely equipped with all the necessary skills to deal with those problems you only need to tap into them .

I also use cognitive behavioral therapy because I have the understanding that we spend most of our lives learning things through a rainbow of experiences throughout our life. These experiences color our perception in negative and positive manners. And we behave and act based on these perceptions. This learning can be unlearned and re-learned by working on our thoughts , emotions , and behaviors in therapy.

My major strength as a therapist is that I am able to really listen to you, to understand you, and be able to see beyond your struggles, to recognize your strengths and qualities and help you find a path to reach your goals. We all have struggles and conflicts, and hurdles in our life. We suffer because we don’t know how to deal with them or are dealing with them in unhelpful ways.

Through therapy we only need to find our strengths, equip ourselves with certain skills in order to tackle and deal with our hurdles in life. Because whatever problem it may be, however intense it may feel, however huge and hard it may look, it is still a hurdle – a big mountain that you need to climb or cut through to reach your goals, because as big as it may seem right now, it can be resolved, with time.
